To ensure a pleasant stay for all our guests, we kindly request your adherence to the following rules:
Noise and Visitors
- Quiet Hours: Please maintain a quiet environment after 21:00. Avoid excessive noise that may disturb neighboring guests.
- No Outside Visitors: Outside visitors are not permitted after 21:00.
- Quiet Conversations: Please keep conversations at a respectful volume to avoid disturbing others.
Room Policies
- Cleaning: Rooms are cleaned daily between 10:00 and 14:00.
- Departure: Rooms must be vacated by 10:00 on your departure day.
- Breakfast: Breakfast is not included in our room tariffs unless specified.
- No Smoking: Smoking, vaping, or hubbly bubbly is strictly prohibited in the rooms. A fine of R500 will be levied if caught violating this rule.
- No Drugs: Drug use is not permitted on the premises.
- Occupancy: Only the number of people paid for are allowed in the room. Extra guests will be charged R200-00 per night if not booked in advance.
- Single Rooms: If you booked a single room, please use only one bed.
Visitors and Braai Area
- Visitor Hours: Visitors are allowed until 21:00. Visitors staying past this time will be considered paying guests.
- Braai Area: The braai area is available to paying guests until 21:00 if arranged with management in advance. Please maintain a quiet and respectful atmosphere.
Property Rules
- Gate Remotes and Keys: Each room has a gate remote and keys. Please keep them safe and secure. Do not take them home.
- Departure: Leave TV and A/C remotes in the room, and place keys in the designated box at the small gate or reception.
- Vehicle Access: Only one vehicle per room is allowed on the premises using the provided gate remote. Other vehicles must park outside.
- Valuables: Please safeguard your valuables and lock your room. The gates close automatically after 30 seconds.
- Take-Away Orders: If ordering take-away, please arrange with the delivery service to contact your cell phone number and open the gate.
- CCTV: Please note that activities on the premises are monitored via CCTV.

Lapa Rules
- Quiet Environment: Please avoid loud music or noise that may disturb other guests.
- Prior Arrangement: Use of the lapa requires prior arrangement with reception.
- No Non-Staying Guests: Only guests staying at Dawaria Guesthouse are allowed in the lapa.
- Time Limit: Use of the lapa is limited to 20:00 (8 pm).
